Today we are diving deep int the ocean of history of how powerful Women are, Not for a privilege factor but we could start with the French Revolution on year 1700's, Marie Antoinette, The Queen of French answered very arrogantly when the women went to her and complained they can't even afford bread because like is very expensive.

“Let them eat cake” translated from "Qu’ils mangent de la brioche" is the most famous quote attributed to Marie-Antoinette, the queen of France during the French Revolution. As the story goes, it was the queen’s response upon being told that her starving peasant subjects had no bread. In French the word "Brioche" had no English translation and history slide to compare it with Cake since it was expensive compare to cake.

The March on Versailles. Concerned over the high price and scarcity of bread, women from the marketplaces of Paris led the March on Versailles on October 5, 1789. This became one of the most significant events of the French Revolution, eventually forcing the royals to return to Paris.

Queen Marie Antoinette who was the bride of France King Louis XVI were extravagant rulers, with that callous remark, the queen became a hated symbol of the decadent monarchy and fueled the revolution that would cause her to (may be) lose her head several years later.

Women in France too took active part in the French revolution in 1789 and after. During the Revolutionary years, they started their own political clubs, journals and newspaper. The revolutionary government introduced laws that helped improve the lives of women.
