Kukujulisha tu, bei ya land Nairobi iko juu sana, maradufu ya huko kwenu. For example, one acre of land in upper Hill goes for uptown KSH 300 million. Tell me anywhere in Dar an acre of land fetches that much. Nevertheless, people still buy land and develop homes. Ushaambiwa baadhi ya mitaa ambayo watu hununua ardhi na kujenga nyumba zao. Wacha nikuongezee zingine:
Ruai, Joska, Kamulu. All in Eastlands. These are not even high-end places. You can do a simple Google search about houses in these places.



About uswazi, you have no defence here. Your statement would make sense if only a small section of Dar has uswazi but here is a case where more than a half of your city landscape is dotted by those sprawling houses some of you have christened dream houses.

We are not bragging about being EA powerhouse. Nyinyi ndio hamjawahikukubaliana na huo ukweli so you always play victim whenever this subject is brought up.

Tunakubali kuwa na slums. Sisi sio kama nyue who excell in denial. What you forget is that not everyone can be blessed to be able to afford land in big cities. If that's the case, Dar haingekuwa na hizo uswazi zilizojaa jijj lenu coz that's an epitome of poverty.

It's even stupid to ask if a Kenyan can afford to buy land. Hizi ardhi zinauzwa in different places in Kenya ni Watanzania wanazinunua?
