As an African woman, I understand the importance of discussing career aspirations. In many parts of Africa, there can be challenges and limitations when it comes to pursuing career goals. However, it's essential to remember that aspirations can thrive regardless of circumstances.

The societal expectations or cultural norms can really discourage women from pursuing certain careers. This can create a barrier to exploring woman's full potential. However, it's crucial to challenge these stereotypes and embrace the power of education, determination, and resilience.

Our dreams and aspirations are valid, regardless of where we are or who we are and where we come from. By believing in ourself, seeking support, and breaking down barriers, we can overcome challenges and achieve our career aspirations. African women have the power to shape the future.

If you want to be a pilot, civil engineer, gynecologists We can go for it, the perception of what women should do and what men should do, is so outdated but yet the situation seems to still be a problem to some societies in Africa and believing women should just do pink collar jobs.

Which women are you talking about? We have women President and speaker of parliament, you still saying society hindering women to fulfill their dreams! Even most of men their success is not just a walk in the park we face many challenges along the jounal. The problem is mostly women want their gender to be favoured, a lot a selfish slogan "wanawake wakiwezeshwa wanaweza" e.t.c if you are competence enough why demand favouritism? However current social situation prove that is very dangerous to give a woman unlimited freedom, good case study are these young ladies branded as "vitoto vya 2000"

Nikweli kabisa, But still the majority still potray women to do pink collar jobs, Be airhostess, make up artist or saloonist
some even deny the rights of their wives to work on what they want and romising them they will open a shop for them.

There is where most of women fit. Women are not suitable for complex fields. During my school days i participated in multiple debate, for the debates about physics and chemistry women attendence was poor, Its not that they descriminated to participate its that most of them are not competence enough in complex fields.
