A man had a girlfriend and a best friend. One day, he called his girlfriend,
"Can you come and help me?"
"I can't, I'm busy," she answered.
He then called his best friend, "Can you come and help me?"
"I can't, I'm doing something," came the reply.
The man finished the work around the house by himself, though he needed help.
The next day, as the man watched TV, his phone rang.
"I need help, are you free?" his girlfriend asked.
"Of course, I'll come now," he answered, rushing to her aid.
After helping her, he suggested, "Let's go to a restaurant, I'm hungry."
"I can't, I'm tired," she declined.
He called his best friend, "Let's go to the restaurant."
"I can't, I'm playing video games!" he shouted angrily, hanging up.
Dejected, the man dined alone. A woman joined him, "Do you want to eat together?"
"Of course, nobody has time for me," he lamented.
She laughed, "Same for me, but don't worry, you'll learn soon."
Confused, he asked, "Learn what?"
"It doesn't matter how much you love them, don't make time for people who can't make time for you."
