Position: Account Clerk

Financial Data Entry and Maintenance:

Financial Data Entry and Maintenance:
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems, spreadsheets, or databases eg Tally, ERP, Quick Book.
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by reconciling discrepancies and verifying entries.
- Assist HOD Account in processing invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Assist HOD Account in preparing and issuing payments to vendors, suppliers, and other creditors promptly.
- Assist HOD- Account Generate financial reports, such as Production reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in analysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- To perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the superiors
- Diploma in accounting or related courses & a minimum of 2 years working experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and account software such as Tally, ERP, & quick Book.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
