Hello mates,
I am getting an error on Windows XP Proffesional Service Pack 3 which pop ups every now and then. The pop up has a heading " 16 bit MS-DOS Subsytem" and then the words "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
CS:0589 IP:02f5 0P:63 75 6d 65 6e Choose 'Close' to terminate the application" then there are two buttons with "Close" and "Ignore" label..If I click on close, it re-appears again and again after a short while. Looks like it is Malware & Trojan related issue, I have installed and updated Malwarebytes Anti-Malware trial version and scan my sytem, as well as scan it using AVG Antivirus, though there are virus/trojans and other malicious codes detected and cleaned, still the error appears. Has anyone encountered this before and found a quick fix ? if so please share the way forward!!
Also, in hard disks there is a shortcut folder with the french words "Nouveau Dossier" as a name which when deleted is re-created again and again
