Hapa mbona mnakinzana na huyu, sijaona mahali serikali ya tanzania ikitajwa kama imenunua asilimia 50BP (Tanzania) Ltd ilimilikiwa kwa asilimia 50 na serikali ya Tanzania na kampuni ya BP (British Petroleum) ilimilikiwa asilimia 50.
BP(British Petroleum) waliamua kuuza shares zao na kujiondoa kwenye baadhi ya nchi za Africa kama vile Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana ... Na kujikita zaidi Angola, Mozambique na South Africa.
Puma Energy, kampuni ya Uswisi ilinunua hisa za BP Tanzania.
Pamoja na Mafuta ya magari pia ilibidi ikubali kusambaza Castrol oil vituoni.
BP ilikuwa na 70% kwenye mafuta ya ndege huku bara na 100% Zanzibar, zote pia ziliuzwa.

BP has agreed the £296m sale of stakes in its refining and marketing operations in southern Africa to Switzerland-based Puma Energy.BP said in a statement on Monday that it is selling its wholly-owned marketing businesses in Namibia and Botswana, as well as its 75pc stake in BP Zambia and 50pc stakes in BP Malawi and BP Tanzania."The decision to divest these businesses, which was first announced by BP in March 2010, followed a strategic review of BP's southern African refining and marketing businesses," the statement said."The sales do not include BP's refining and marketing businesses in Mozambique or South Africa."BP, Europe's second-largest oil company by market value, is in the process of raising $25bn to $30bn by the end of 2011 to help pay for its Gulf of Mexico oil spill.The sale is expected to be completed next year and subject to regulatory approval in the affected countries.Puma Energy is a subsidiary of Dutch-based oil group Trafigura.BP sells African assets to Puma Energy for £296m
