The government of Kenya is at the early stages of talks to have a dual carriage 482 KM expressway that will connect Nairobi and Mombasa cities.
A pre-feasibility study has already been undertaken by the Korean Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation Africa (KIND) in association with the Kenya National Highways Authority (KenHA) and the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works
The expressway will have four-six Lanes and 19 Interchanges along major towns and crossings. The expressway will become a toll Road and is to be completed by year 2026
