Waasi hao walalamika kuwa Bwana Eric Nkuba alikamatwa katika uwanja wa JK International Airport Dar es Salaam.

Mamalaka za Tanzania zilimkabidhi jamaa huyo kwa mamlaka za DRC na huko jamaa kashughulikiwa vibaya na kutema siri zote za waasi hao. Pia ametaja Rais Msitafu J. kabila ni mfadhili wa waasi hao.

Binafsi kama Mtanzania napongeza mamlaka zetu kwa jambo hili.

"Nangaa had already contained the tanzanian president about the arrest of Mr. Éric nkuba. Here is an extract from the mail:

"- The Congo River Alliance expresses to Your Excellency its deep concern about the kidnapping, since January 3, 2024, of one of its political executives in the person of Mr. Eric Nkuba Shebandu (52 years old) at the international airport from Dar es Salaam by Tanzanian immigration officials.

"- We have just learned with pain that Mr. Eric Nkuba, after having suffered enormous torture, has just been executed. One more killing after those of Chérubin OkendeKENDE, Delphin Kahimbi, Mukunto, Judge Yanyi and others by the bloodthirsty regime of Kinshasa.

"- Assuming that this crime is established, should we understand that the United Republic of Tanzania will be historically responsible for it?

"- Is Tanzania, a land of peace, presenting us with the new image of its democracy while our country shares with it precious relations of cross-border fraternity, harmonious cooperation and irrevocably promising economic prospects?

"- We ask you, Excellency, to kindly shed some light on the circumstances of this kidnapping carried out in broad daylight in one of the most secure airports on the continent in defiance of international humanitarian law, by Tanzanian services while like the circumstances of his death for the benefit of the reciprocal solidarity which will eternally characterize our peoples.

"CLEARLY, IT WAS MADAME SULUHU WHO DELIVERED MR. ÉRIC NKUBA TO TSHISEKEDI WITHOUT KNOWING THAT SHE WAS EXPOSED HER COUNTRY TO SULFUROUS CRITICISM BECAUSE OF A FEW MILLIONS OF AMERICAN DOLLARS.

Eric Nkuba Shebandu, 52 years old, on Wednesday, April 05, 2024 was shown to the media working in the Democratic Republic of Congo after his arrest in January, this year.

He was first arrested at the airport of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, the government of this country returned him to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This man at the end of 2023 was already the Secretary of the Party recently founded by Corneille Nangaa which is united with various groups including M23.

They called themselves Alliance Fleuve Congo and claimed to be fighting to end the dictatorship of President Felix Tshisekedi.

The correspondent of the French news agency, RFI, named Pascal Mulegwa, told X that the Tanzanian immigration department arrested Eric Nkuba Shebandu and returned him to the government of Kinshasa.

Mulegwa says that there is a letter written by members of Nkuba's family to the Tanzanian Ambassador in Kinshasa which contains a message stating that the way he was treated is not in accordance with international law.

Members of his family also criticize what Tanzania has done because it should not be done by such a country that is known to follow the principles of democracy.

When M23 aligned with Corneille Nangaa and other military groups, they created what they called the Alliance Fleuve Congo and confirmed that Corneille Nangaa would be the coordinator of this alliance.

At that time there were photos and videos posted on X showing Eric Nkuba Shebandu with Corneille Nangaa, Gen Makenga, Bertrand Bisiimwa, Col Byamungu and Col Nzinzi from M23.


Undisclosed information from a neutral organization says that Eric Nkuba was arrested in January, 2024 by Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which has not been released to the media for three months.

After his arrest, DRC investigators questioned the man and his associates about Joseph Kabila's name.

Who is Eric Nkuba Shebandu, the strategic and political advisor to the Congo River Alliance (AFC), a political-military movement in rebellion in North Kivu under the leadership of Corneille Nangaa?

Little is known about this close friend of Corneille Nangaa who appeared for the first time alongside his mentor in Nairobi, Kenya, during the ceremony marking the official exit of the AFC in the presence of M23 executives.

And since then, he has remained close to Nangaa to the point that he found himself in the first photos taken and made public by Conreneille Nangaa from the Congolese territories conquered by the M23.

According to security services, this man, aged 52, was arrested on January 3, 2024 at Dar Es Salaam International Airport by Tanzanian immigration officials.

In a letter to the Tanzanian ambassador in Kinshasa, his family denounced “an expeditious procedure in defiance of international law and human rights on the part of Tanzania, a country nevertheless reputed to be democratic”.

It therefore constitutes a gold mine of military and financial information on the functioning of the rebellion led by the former president of the Electoral Center.

DR Congo yawaita mabalozi wake waliopo Kenya na Tanzania nyumbani

Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasia ya Kongo iliwaita mabalozi wake kutoka Kenya na Tanzania kwa mashauriano siku ya Jumamosi, baada ya muungano mpya wa kijeshi wa Kongo unaojumuisha waasi kuzinduliwa katika mji mkuu wa Kenya.

Alain Tshibanda, msemaji wa wizara ya mambo ya nje ya Kongo, alitoa tangazo hilo kwenye mtandao wa kijamii wa X, uliokuwa ukiitwa Twitter.

Balozi huyo nchini Tanzania aliitwa tena kwa sababu Tanzania ni mwenyeji wa makao makuu ya Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki, ambayo Kongo ni mwanachama hai pia mdau wa Jumuiya hiyo katika kutoa michango na rasilimali fedha.

Mapema siku ya Jumamosi, mkuu wa ubalozi wa Kenya alikuwa ameitwa kwa wizara ya mambo ya nje mjini Kinshasa. Serikali ya Kenya haikuweza kupatikana mara moja kutoa maoni yake.

Siku ya Ijumaa, wanasiasa na makundi ya Kongo wakiwemo waasi wa M23, ambao wameteka eneo la mashariki mwa Kongo, na Bw. Corneille Nangaa, mkuu wa zamani wa tume ya uchaguzi ya Kongo, walizindua Muungano wa Mto Kongo mjini Nairobi.

Akizungumza katika uzinduzi huo, Nangaa, ambaye aliidhinishwa na Marekani kwa rushwa na kukwamisha uchaguzi wa 2018, alisema muungano huo utaleta pamoja makundi mbalimbali ya watu wenye silaha, wanamgambo, mashirika ya kijamii na kisiasa ya Kongo.

"Natafuta suluhu la kudumu; jumuiya zote lazima ziishi pamoja nchini Kongo," Nangaa aliiambia Reuters siku ya Jumamosi.

Kongo inatazamiwa kufanya uchaguzi wa rais na wabunge tarehe 20 Disemba.
Muungano huo mpya ni wasiwasi wa ziada katika eneo ambalo ukosefu wa usalama umeendelea kwa miongo kadhaa, ukichochewa na uhasama wa kikabila na mzozo wa ardhi na rasilimali na athari za kikanda.

Democratic Republic of Congo recalled its ambassadors from Kenya and Tanzania for consultations on Saturday, after a new Congolese military alliance that includes rebels was launched in the Kenyan capital.
Alain Tshibanda, spokesperson for Congo's foreign ministry, made the announcement on the X social media platform, formerly called Twitter.
The envoy to Tanzania was recalled because Tanzania hosts the headquarters of the East African Community, which Congo also belongs to.
Earlier on Saturday, the Kenyan embassy's head of mission had been summoned to the foreign ministry in Kinshasa. The Kenyan government could not immediately be reached for comment.
On Friday, Congolese politicians and groups including the M23 rebels, who have seized territory in eastern Congo, and Corneille Nangaa, a former Congo election commission chief, launched the Congo River Alliance in Nairobi.
Speaking at the launch, Nangaa, who was sanctioned by the U.S. for corruption and obstructing the 2018 election, said the alliance would bring together various Congolese armed groups, militias, social and political organizations.
"I am looking for a lasting solution; all communities must live together in Congo," Nangaa told Reuters on Saturday.
Congo is due to hold presidential and legislative elections on December 20.
The new alliance is an additional concern in a region where insecurity has persisted for decades, fueled by ethnic rivalries and a tussle over land and resources with regional implications.
Bintou Keita, head of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Congo, said in a post on social media platform X that she was "extremely concerned by the creation of a new political-military platform
