Huenda Misri inaweza kubadili msimamo wake wa muda mrefu wa kukataa wakimbizi wa Kipalestina kutoka Gaza. Kwa mujibu wa Al Akhbar, Rais Abdel Fattah El-Sisi anafikiria kuruhusu hadi Wapalestina 500,000 kuingia Sinai kwa muda wakati Gaza ikikarabatiwa.
Mapema mwezi huu, Misri iliwasilisha mpango wa dola bilioni 53 kwa ukarabati wa Gaza, ukiwa mbadala wa maono ya Trump. Mpango huu unahusisha makazi ya muda kwa hadi Wapalestina milioni 1.5 na kuundwa kwa kamati ya kimataifa kusimamia utawala na misaada ya kibinadamu.
