Yeah old fashioned residents who are always proud something come from outside, normally they will say
''International companies have establish their headquarters" lol cctv
"We know english" english which has taste of their local language kikuyu, luo, etc and it sucks and even their swahili sucks!
"hub of something" and sometime they will compare with the rest of East Africa.
"Economic giant" poor economic i found very poor economic of third World
'we are capitalists" which i found very stupid since they have few number of people who have enough capital and rest of them live in Kibera.

Wale wanaoponda hili jengo na vutio lake, hivi mnajua nini kuhusu architecture????

Tanzanians keep singing dar is getting lots of investors putting up towers but by my simple analysis I have realised almost all towers there are government owned through parastals unlike in Kenya where KENYAN private sector builds then foreigners lease.Consequently now foreign firms wameona mazuri yapo wanaanza kujenga zao wabongo jiulize mbona the likes of Hass and Avic chose Nairobi for tower construction and not dar?

I guess Kenyan architectures have been obsessed with what they are seeing in those cities, unfortunately those old school architecture do not have touch in modern World, even those cities now are struggling to modernize themselves.Look this building which was built in 1930-1931 have same touch with your new building. It is still old school Nairobi even those sorrounding buildings have the same touch and you are going back 70 years

he Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper in New York City, New York at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street.
