Kanumba ndani ya Big Brother House 2009

Where will English take you to?

Sisi tunakosa maarifa tunasingizia lugha. Hivyo vitu siyo sawa! Kwa hali ilivyo sasa ni vurugu tupu. Kiingereza hatuji na hata kiswahili pia.

Dark City it will not be practical for all Tanzanians travelling abroad to go with translaters.I have met a lot of Tanzanians educated at home now working in Sadc countries and they all agree that at the beginning their communication skills were below par and they had to improve to cope.As long as we do not accept that we have a problem it will always be difficult to rectify.

hatujachelewa jamani.

Mkuu, I am not saying that English is not important. The point I and other guys here have been trying to make is that, English should not be our first priority. We should aim at getting knowledge which can make us proud in whatever language. Once you have all the tool (nondo) you can start to struggle with language. If I wanted to switch to French and do my current business in that language, I am pretty sure that I would make it. But when you have nothing except language, it means you are actually a no value material. I have a friend of mine who has done wonders (travels to all corners of the globe) but his English is offal. But the guy is highly regarded because his brain has valuable stuff in it.

Probably, we can ask parents who paid heavily to send their kids to Kampala because of English and ended up getting empty heads fluent in English (with simple words as opposed to Kanumba's difficult words)!!

Japokuwa sio lugha yetu.

Celebrity Kanumba akasema " so Big want us to make hurry" eish!

Kanumba atakanushaje wakati tumemsikia sisi wenyewe?

Naitwa maimuna????

Amani;

Bongo Celebrity wameweka clips ambazo watu hawakuzisema, muulize aliyetazama...

At present where majority of people are trying to learn English as much as they can who are we Tanzanian? It is not a point of walking and lagging behind while others are running! We all know that Swahili is our national language at the moment but it is not an international language yet so why shouldn't we work hard to learn at least one international language and to me I think is the best option so long as we have some background for it.
I suggest we should put more efforts to teach and learn much on pronunciation, this will make us at least to be in the same level like other native English speaking people. Most of Tanzanians who have been abroad believe me or not it took them a time to understand others as well as making others understand them.

I can't believe at all.

Afadhali umeona hilo mkuu kuna watu hawalioni tatizo

............hivi uchaguzi wa hawa watu wanaoenda huko huwa unafanyikaje......maana wakati mwingine jamani inabidi tuwe serious zinapotokea opportunities kama hizi............

mi nakumbuka hata kwenye zile debate zetu mashuleni....tulikuw atukihakikisha tunaweka wale watakaotuwakilisha vyema........ili tuibuke vinara.....huku sie wengine ambao kwamba lugha ilikuwa bado tunaendelea kujipiga msasa.........

tatizo letu lingine Watanzania ni kuruhusu watu mediocre.....kupita katika nafasi nyingine hata kama hawastahili..........kisa unaambiwa huyu anapendwa sana, ana sura nzuri (JK).....and on and on.....damn!

Sawa kiswahili Lugha yetu.Haelewi swali?Maana what's the whole point of reality show kama hamna conversation?Basi angepitia maimuna aka-brush lugha kidogo.Maana aliulizwa if you were a real house member ,would you have a strategy? What would it be?Jamaa alionekana kutoelewa hadi Big Brother akaamua kumtafunia..lakini bado hakuwa anaelewa.Tatizo halikuwa accent.Ni uelewa....hata watumia sign language inabidi waelewane ili kuwasiliana...sasa hapa inakuwa vipi...Ndio Kipaji cha kua-act anacho...lakini akubali lugha imempiga chenga and he should work on it...Kweli mamilioni ya watu wote wanamuone yeye wivu?Work on your communication skills as well as brushing up kiingereza.Itakuja kusaidia later.

Jamani jamani.
