go to settings and add a new satellite SES5 then put the tps as given above and search.

I am receiving them here in north western Tanzania.The signal is very weak i think they do not belong to the usual Amos 5 beam which is strong in east Africa.

this channels are on eutelsat 16 and not amos 5

The tp is listed on lyngsat on Amos 5.Amos 5 at 17.0°E - LyngSat

If are on eutelsat 16 why some Kenyans are not getting them while the beam covers most part of Kenya.

For EPL, try the dedicated IDMAN 11492V30000. For tracking 7e, use BBC Knowledge tp 10804V29900. Remember that much of our nailable Digit*rk is in SD FORMAT.

The ONE BIG downside with most of our FTA EPL channels is their lack of English Audio select option.
Somebody here suggested that to solve this shortcoming, simply fool your audience. You ask how? Mute your tv audio and crank up Radio Jambo (Kenya).

Meanwhile, here are the pics for the MODIFIED KU-BAND HOLDER FOR PRIME FOCUS DISHES.

Your ku-band (male) is meant to be inserted into the modified dead c-band (female) holder. If you have a twin ku-lnb, then you may need to cut open the top end of the dead c-band and make proper adjustments by also reducing the bottom with the help of an hacksaw blade.

Remember to employ the COPPER "U" surface holders found packaged alongside new pf pan dishes. We love them because they come already drilled to fit, plus they are very easy to manipulate (refer to my post above). Do not forget the horse clips for multi-lnb setups (as illustrated in the @7e pic below) .

Ingeneous guys can always make do with these modifations with marginal success to the bewilderment of others.

unsuccessfully i tracked digiturk at 7a, the highest quality I got was 40%, useless to watch any channels, at the moment am watching same 7 east at a signal of 100% and quality of 80% at the same time, am getting SES5 at signal strength of 97% and quality of 70% not bad. lakini prime focus of 160 cm has proved to be useless at my location on nabbing Europe beam of 7a.

is that 10e c band lnb and 7e on the quad Ku lnb?..or is that the modified cband Ku lnb holder?

I have 8ft mesh dish how do I make it receive ku sat will aluminium foil help?

i also have a similar dish and am thinking of replacing the mesh with another finer mesh. I dont understand why everybody is talking about foiling.How will that dish look like? how about wind?
