During the time of Digtrk 7E I used an inverto black ultra on a prime focus dish and I received all the transponders. It's true that the feedhorn design is different for the two bands because of the wave characteristics but ku-band lnb can work on prime focus dish.

Location, relative to the beam, matters. The further you are the more accurate your set-up must be.

Hi, gurus, I'm a documentary enthusiast. Pleasr recommend the gear & the channels. Hist##y, anim*l, facto*y, structures, etc. Got a 1.8, 90cm, & a z*k* decoder which I use as fta. Nyeri County.

The decoder you have is a museum relic in matters FTA, ditch it in favor of Freesat V7 Combo or other FTA decoder that tickles your fancy. Then aim your dish at IS-20/ A-7 for now.

I was planning to post a question related to that. I have a 90 that I wanted to direct to SES/Astra, which combination can one make? My LNBs are an Inverto Ultra Black and the some 2 cheaper ones.

You can aim at 7W/8W using Inverto as the prime lnb and then offset 5E with the other cheaper lnb. I will post the picture of the setup.

The set up was in Nairobi- south side and the reception was perfect. Digitrk Europe B beam is at the North of Nairobi (outside the beam) but there's spillover of the signal.

freq i dint lnb i used the kawaida inverto black lnb that i made a plastic holder for i was super suprised that it even worked given that the holder wasnt perfect n btw shes enjoying dubai one as we speak n the way she was aganist me buying a bigger dish hopin to get ur help on nabbing apstar and is20 for so*ny and di*va and ax*n

Or you could stubbornly try combining it with 3W. A taaaaaaaall order

depends on what you want Unless you want him to watch arabic channels on 7/8 w. Hes not an arab. If you check vince455 posts he was struggling to get 7/8w with 6ft and inverto! now you telling this guy he can get them as a parasite on 90cm?
