Wakazi wa Kigamboni siku ya Jumapili waliweza kufurahia ladha za vyakula mbalimbali vya asili kupitia kampeni ya ‘Coca-Cola Kitaa Food Fest’ ambayo iliyofanyika Geza Ulole wilaya ya Kigamboni.

Kampeni hiyo inalenga kuenzi vyakula vya asili na kuimarisha mshikamano wa kijamii huku ikikuza biashara za wajasiriamali wa vyakula maarufu kama Mama Lishe.

Vyakula mbalimbali kama vile pilau, ugali, wali, samaki, dagaa, mchicha, ndizi na nyamachoma, vilitawala hafla hiyo vikikamilishwa rasmi na kinywaji cha Coca-Cola.

Akizungumza wakati wa hafla hiyo, Ummy Amiry, ambaye ni Mama Lishe maarufu eneo la Kigamboni Ferry, alisema kuwa Samaki kwa Ugali/wali ni moja ya vyakula pendwa zaidi kwa wakazi wa Kigamboni na hata wale wanaopenda kutembelea mji huo.

"Wateja wetu wengi, hususan wageni, huvutiwa zaidi na samaki wakija Kigamboni na sisi huwa tunajitahidi kuhakikisha kuwa tunawapa huduma nzuri. Tuna furaha kuona Coca-Cola inatuunga mkono na kukuza biashara zetu kupitia kampeni hii," alisema.

Kwa upande wake, Elia Julius Kefa, Baba Lishe maarufu Kigamboni, alifurahia ushiriki wake katika kampeni hiyo, akieleza kuwa aliandaa pilau, nyama choma, na ndizi choma – vyakula rahisi na vyenye kuvutia. Alihimiza wanaume kushiriki zaidi kwenye upishi, akisema, "Wanaume wengi wana vipaji vya kupika, na kampeni hii inatupa fursa ya kuonyesha uwezo wetu, hivyo niwashi akina baba haina haja ya kuogopa, cha muhimu ni kufanya kazi."

Kampuni ya Coca-Cola imeendelea na dhamira yake ya kuunga mkono wajasiriamali wa mitaani kama Mama Lishe na Baba Lishe kupitia kampeni ya ‘Coca-Cola Kitaa Food Fest,’ ikilenga kuimarisha uchumi wa watu hao na kuhakikisha watanzania wanafurahia vyakula mbalimbali huku wakishushia na soda ya Coca-Cola.
