Kuna madhara yoyote ya kiafya mtu anaweza kupata anapotumia hii Microwave ya kupashia chakula na Mambo mengine, naomba kujuzwa hili.

Microwaves hufanya kazi kwa kuheat water molecules (maji) ndani ya chakula na kusababisha zivibrate kwa kasi mpaka joto linapatikana. Ndo maana kitu kikavu kabisa hakipayi joto kikiwekwa kwenye microwave.

Matumizi pekee ya microwave kwa heating hayana madhara, lakini inawezekana chakula kilichohifadhiwa muda mrefu kuingia vijidudu au kupoteza ubora kabla hujapasha moto na kuleta madhara mengineyo

Kwa mujibu wa sayansi microwaves ni mojawapo ya mionzi katika moja wapo ya makundi mawili makuu ya “mawimbi”

Kuna aina mbili(2) za mawimbi
1. Mawimbi ya kimakanikia..mfano sauti
2.Mawimbi ya umemesumaku….hapa ndio kuna aina zake saba za aina hii ya mawimbi.

Kwa ujumla wake inaitwa mionzi,kwahiyo Microwave ni mojawapo ya mionzi hiyo ambayo kikawaida huwa inapangwa kutegemea ukali wake(frequency)

Nikizipanga kwa mujibu wa frequency ndogo kwenda kubwa basi zinakaa kama hivi

sasa ukiangalia hapo juu,radio waves ndio hii mionzi ambayo tunaitumia kila siku kwenye mawasiliano ya simu,radio,TV n.k na mionzi hii ipo tu tunaishi nayo sababu inazalishwa naturally na vitu vingi tu zikiwemo sayari n.k

Inayofuatia ndio hiyo microwaves…hii yenyewe ina uwezo wa kupenyeza kwenye vimiminika hasa hasa maji sababu ya muundo wa molecule za maji(polar structure)…kitendo cha kuweza kupenye kwenye molecule za maji kunasababisha molecules za maji kusigana kwa spidi kubwa sana(frequency) na hivyo kupelekea kupata joto la juu kwa muda mfupi ,kwahiyo kama majimaji haya yapo ndani ya kitu kingine basi katika namna hii kile kitu kitapatwa na joto kali pia.

Kwahiyo kinachofanyika unapopasha chakula kwa microwave ni lazima kiwe na unyevunyevu kwanza,lakini baada ya huo mchakato kinachozalishwa ni joto tu kama ambavyo lingezalishwa na namna nyingine yoyote ile.

Kwa kifupi hata moto tunaotumia kupika nao unaangukia kwenye kundi linalofuatia la Infrared…kundi hili ndio ambalo ngozi zetu zinaweza kuhisi,yaani ni kwamba maji yanaweza hisi mawimbi ya microwave na ngozi ya binadamu inaweza hisi “infrared” ndio maana joto unaweza kulihisi….sasa huwezi ukasema joto lina madhara kwako kama umelipata kwa kiasi stahiki kwa sababu pia ni muhimu kwa ajili ya mwili.

mawimbi mengine mbeleni hapo hatuwezi kuyahisi mpaka kwa vifaa maalumu…lakini ipo na inafanya kazi uzuri kabisa.
