Raila Odinga, ambaye anataka kuwa mgombea urais wa NASA, alisema kuwa upinzani itakuwa na mawakala angalau 10 katika kila kituo cha kupigia kura ili kuzuia wizi wa kura.

ODM leader Raila Odinga has for the first time signalled how the opposition intends to protect its presidential votes - it will have 450,000 agents across the country.


The strategy dubbed “adopt a poling station” will ensure all the opposition’s supporters vote. Raila said this will “stop Jubilee from rigging the election”.

“You are soon going to get information on how to adopt a polling station,” he told members of the Bunge La Mwananchi caucus.

There were claims Cord failed to deploy agents in Jubilee strongholds in 2013, creating room for manipulation of results.

Raila said the agents will be in constant communication with a central command team at the secretariat.

The agents will also send immediate results from polling stations to the NASA presidential tallying centre.
 
The more days progress towards the elections, the more I get worried at the strategy being employed by NASA.
They have little time left to get their house in order. Just like in 2013, their confidence of winning makes them lose focus on strategy.
Am yet to figure out their clarion call for 2017. Am yet to understand why they want the presidency. Am afraid these guys are losing it.
 
Apart from tribal arithmetic, I think NASA fails to realise that they are not consolidating an entire nation behind them.
This weeks fiasco of Joho also exposes them badly. They need to be the ones on the offensive. As it stands, jubilee is on the offensive and few of their leaders are coming to the aid of their Joho.
 
what the government is doing to Joho is only building him politically..I think it is abt time the prezzo stops quarreling with junior officials and put his house in order be4 the polls
 
what will make them loose is their hesitation to name the flagbearer and the lack of clear policies for the kenyan people...they have not told us what they will do for this country...all they are saying is how they will send Uhuruto packing.

But you see friend , even NASA politicians are kenyans. They have a right to vie for any seat, including presidency. Their right to vie is predicated on their citizenry, and its up to you to listen to their message (or not). Freedoms enshrined in the constitution.
 
True that,this cuts across the political divide,If UK cant respect basic rights enshrined in the constitution he can go and sip his stuff in peace in Gatundu.I voted him in but now?...not sure Ill do it again!

Cha msingi na muhimu ni kuhamasisha watu wake wajitokeze kwa wingi na kupiga kura, kuwajaza mawakala (agents) kwenye vituo wataishia miayo tu kama wapigaji kura hawatahamasishwa ipasavyo. Juzi taasisi ya usajili wa wapigaji kura (IEBC) walihitimisha zoezi la usajili, lakini la kushangaza ni kwamba mawakala wake walikua wanapiga miayo na kusoma magazeti maana waliojitekeza kusajiliwa walikua wachache.

Leo hii viongozi wa upinzani bado wanalumbana kwamba nani apokee bendera, kila mmoja hataki kumwachia mwenzie, wanakumbushiana mikataba ya awali (MOU), tena kwa kutumia vyombo vya habari badala ya kuyafanya hayo kimya kimya. Hii inachangia kwa wafuasi wao kukata tamaa na kugoma kujitokeza kwa wingi.

Na Odinga miaka yoote anagombea yeye tu, kwanini asitoe nafasi kwa mgombea mwingine wa chama chake?

Japo pia hii ndio itakua mara ya mwisho kwa Raila maana katiba ina kikomo cha umri. Hivyo kwake yeye lazima agombee kwa kwenda mbele, hawezi akaachia.
Kuna jamaa anaitwa Kalonzo naona anajidanganya kwamba ataachiwa yeye.
