When I typed “free online courses” into Google, I got a lot of hits. Most of the results were not useful as many of them were not helpful or not having any free courses.

Not any student has time to go through thousands of results and find suitable Websites For Online Courses.
However you can easily cut down time for searching free online courses for international students, if you spend time visiting what I consider to be the “best online courses” websites.

In no particular order here are the choices.

1. edX. edX is a massive open online course (MOOC) provider and online learning platform. It hosts online university-level courses in a wide range of disciplines to a worldwide audience at no charge.

2. Coursera. Coursera is a for-profit educational technology company offering serveral courses for international students.

3. Future Learn. Top British universities have signed up to Futurelearn, a new programme offering free degree-style online courses to the public in direct competition with US-led rivals Coursera and edX.

4. Khan Academy. Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan to provide “a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.

5. Open University. Hundreds of free extracts from OU courses. Try interactives, watch videos and see a full guide to OU programmes on TV and radio.
6. Stanford Online Courses

7. Udemy. Udemy.com is a platform or marketplace for online learning. Unlike academic MOOC programs driven by traditional collegiate coursework, Udemy provides a platform for experts of any kind to create courses which can be offered to the public, either at no charge or for a tuition fee.

8. ALISON. ALISON is an e-learning provider founded in Galway, Ireland in 2007 by serial entrepreneur, Mike Feerick. Its stated objective is to enable people to gain basic education and workplace skills.

9. Seek Learning Australia. Browse from over 300 nationally recognised and accredited TAFE, university and IT courses.

10. MIT OpenCourseWare. MIT OpenCourseWare is a web-based publication of virtually all MIT course content.

11. Harvard Open Courses. Take free Harvard online courses through Harvard Extension School’s Open Learning Initiative. Course videos feature Harvard faculty.

12. Academic Earth. It’s a collection of free online college courses from the world’s top universities

13. Online courses at Cambridge. Very good programs but not all classes may be free.

14. Udacity. Discover online classes taught by top instructors and industry experts. Take courses at your own pace.

15. BYU Independent Study. BYU Independent Study is an online educational program that offers more than 500 online courses — university, high school, junior high school and free courses to international students.

If you have any question then please do not hesitate to ask. You can also go through Free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC)
Wishing you Success!
