Mr. Abdul-Razaq Badru appointed HESLB's Executive Director

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board wishes to announce the appointment of Mr. Abdul-Razaq Badru (pictured) as the Executive Director of the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board with effect from 20th July, 2016, pursuant to section 10 (1) and 11 (1) & (2) of the HESLB Act No. 9 0f 2004 (as amended).

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Badru served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Ifakara Health Institute.

Mr. Badru holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Indian Institute for Foreign Trade (IFFT) of the Deemed University, New Delhi, India and a B.A. (Sociology) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

He has over 18 years of professional experience. He brings to the Board an extensive experience in general management, marketing, business development and capacity building across the public, non-profit and commercial sectors, both in Tanzania and in the Eastern and Southern African region. He specializes in navigating obstacles, motivating people, and delivering results in highly challenging environments. He has provided technical support and consulting in public and private sectors including services sectors like banking, insurance, freight and logistics.

The Board of Directors, Management team and staff of the Board extend a warm welcome to Mr. Badru and pledge to cooperate with him.

Jerry Sabi mwezi Februari, 2016. Nadshani ndio umekamilika...Bodi ya Wakurugenzi inafanya interviews na kupendekeza kwa Waziri ambaye anateua....nadhani anaye-act hakuomba kabisa. Wangevunja sheria na taratibu kwa kumteua...maoni yangu tuu
