1 day I heard adverts that there will be an inspiration talk at Ubungo Plaza. I swore not to miss it. On that specific date, I got up early to Ubungo plaza, paid 10,000 and took front most seat

After few hours a guy walks in with bespoke suits, Italian shoes, slim tie, holding corporate briefcase and car keys on his waist. He starts talking Plain truth, so much sense. Exact same things I wanted to hear. He said "Life is tough and unfair, if u are an entrepreneur its even worse. You'd probably fail more ofter, you'll go bankrupt, attract enermies, lose friends, get dumped by ur GF, you might even be arrested. But u are never supposed to QUIT. If I quitted myself I wouldnt be who I am today. I wouldnt be owning all these cars, houses & stress-free life"

He even asked a random qn and I got it very correctly, he brought me on stage and gave me 30,000. To be honest on this day I was motivated, I would feel blood running thru my vains. The next few days I started with 50 chickens

A year later my biz was doing great. 1 day I went to hospital to visit a sick friend, now I was buying fruit salad, it was 2500 I bought 2 packs. Coincidentally, that motivational speaker dropped off a bajaj, and came to buy fruits for his friend, he couldn't afford and started bargaining. I was so shocked, he was wearing flipflops (ndala), I bought him fruits and reminded him where we met first. This guy refused 100% he rejected completely that he wasnt the one

Guys,these fools who call themselves motivational speakers take advantage of youth's desperations to sell their illusions. Bcoz someone has biz logo & biz card he must not fool you. Most of these speakers talk about things u already know & they havent achieved themselves. U need INTERNAL gears to move ur own mountains,not extrinsic motivation

Find a nice mentor, then learn to become your own motivational coach & speaker, learn to listen to your own voice and advice, as u are the only person guaranteed to be with you every time you need a 'kick up your attitude'

I have had good experience when I came across this strong man T.D Jakes, (though instantly) and I can testify here that, motivational speakers are very vital to us especially in these days of frustration and all kind of miseries.

Gudume...I think Game changer should have acknowledged the motivational speaker for giving him 300,000,that helped him start with 50 chicken.

He didn’t gave me 300k.
He gave me 30k which when you minuse with the fee i had paid to attend i remained with 20k.
And when u add the bus fare i used from the place i had came from and the money i used for lunch its actually 0k i had with in my pocket.

I totally agree with you. The so called motivation speakers are nothing but crooks. They stir youths desperate ambitions of wealth accumulation. They are just hopemonger, unfortunately many youths do not get it.
