A Spanish couple and two Malaysians have been rescued after spending 10 days adrift at sea without food.
The group were travelling in a small boat when a wave swamped the vessel, carrying away all food and water on board and leaving them unable to restart the motor.
They were discovered by Vietnamese fishermen drifting in waters off Borneo island, having survived solely on small amounts of sea water they filtered through a bag to remove salt.
Marta Miguel and her partner David Hernandez are weakened but in good health, her father has told Spanish radio.
"Physically they're not badly off despite everything they have suffered," he said.
The pair were working as volunteers at a Malaysian resort and were travelling with its owner when they became stranded.
They arrived back in Malaysia by plane on Friday where they were met by family and friends.
A Malaysian rescue operation had been searching for the boat after the group was reported missing and found one of its engines on Sunday, according to reports .
Ms Miguel's father said his daughter and her boyfriend would return to Spain to see relatives after the ordeal, but may eventually go back to Malaysia.
He explained that they may want "to fulfil their dreams" of opening their own business in the country but admitted he "wouldn't like that".
