What I’m happy from Theresa, is the risk she is taking for the sake of her Country as it is a game of gamble which can jeopardize her political future. I’m not sure how many African countries would follow her step risking their career and sweetness of power for interest of uniting their nation, I think we have something to learn if we agree that African Country like Tanzania is democratic and citizens are on top on setting the rule of law and national interest. I salute her decision.

Africa leaders would not follow such step because our leaders think about themselves first and not their people or national interest. Even if their regular terms ends, they always try to manipulate or wishes to seek another term so they can stay longer. See Kagame , Kabila and Yahya Jammeh as examples. What I’m happy from Theresa, is the risk she is taking for the sake of her Country as it is a game of gamble which can jeopardize her political future. Good and positive entry.
Also there is something called "voting intention" which predicts and give the precise outcome of what the electorate are thinking of any party.
As it stands, the conservatives are leading way ahead.
The opinion poll generator called YouGOv has given the indicators as follows:
With the PM calling a general election for 8 June, here's YouGov's most recent voting intention
Con - 44%
Lab - 23%
LD - 12%
UKIP - 10%
So , from this , you can clearly see her confidence with the voters to take brave decision for snap election.
The question is not about to measure economic achievements gained in order to cling on power pls. If that was the yardstick Washington woudnt have left the white house and many others, the issue of Kagame and his company it's power-greedy.Agree with you on Kabila and Yahya Jammeh but not Kagame.
Also it depends on which side of argument you are on whether on economic, social or political.
If you've been in Kigali you wouldn't take 5 minutes to see the difference between the three in terms of economy as soon, Rwandaair will start to fly to Gatwick in London as a direct route.
This is clearly of indication that Kagame has done some good things if you compare the three.
Kinshasa is the worst of all n terms of economic developments.

I agree with how Rwanda has developed on various sectors under Kagame leadership. My reason to mentioned him was to show how our African leaders their attitude are. Kagame he called referendum vote to seek additional term isn't? And people give him a mandate that's is a good thing democratically. However, despite all the good things he has done he should have step aside and let other suitable candidates took over where he left off. Otherwise how long would he remain in power because he did the good things? This would not be the case in western contries where we are learning our democracy. Once someone else term is finished the rules will not change or overwritten.
Mmmmmh
Asije akageukwa na wapiga kura na kujutia.
