Hii nimeifuma kwenye maktaba moja London...Moja katika Archives za Afrika katika koloni la Tanganyika.Hawa Waingereza wana siri nyingi sana juu ya Tanzania na Utajili wake.

Nimejifunza pia "siri" za harakati za Uhuru na namna Waingereza walivyomchukulia Nyerere.Nimefurahi kuona mambo fulani ambayo Sheikh Mohamed Said amekuwa akiyasema hapa na watu hawamuelewi.
Nitakuwa nawaibia kidogo kidogo ili ku-share pamoja

Juu ni barua ya Malkia wa Uingereza ambayo ni Royal Charter iliyoipa Dar es Salaam hadhi ya jiji tar 13 November, 1961. Kwa miaka hiyo, ili mji upate hadhi ya jiji ilihitaji vitu vitatu:
1. Sifa kuwa heshima, ukubwa na umuhimu katika nchi
2. Baraza la jiji lenye uwezo wa kutoa huduma zote za jiji kikamilifu - yaan usafi, usafiri, maji safi na taka, umeme, mipango miji, kutunza mandhari ya jiji
3. Jiji kuwa na wawakilishi wachaguliwao na wananchi kwa Uhuru, baraza la jiji lisiloingiliwa na kupata meya kwa njia ya kura.
Hayo nimeyatoa kama yalivo toka nyaraka za mkoloni wetu.

Chini ni Barua ya Director of Public Works akiliombea pesa daraja ambalo hata hivyo alikufa bila kuliona.Na hatimaye Daraja kupewa jina lake kwa heshima yake baada ya kujengwa 1930-31
 
Naam itakuwa ni nyongeza nzuri ya elimu
 
Ndiyo faida ya kusoma na kujiridhisha au kutafiti kabla ya kuweka ushabiki kwenye mambo ya msingi.
