Comment on this Slogan: "Tanzania, Feel Greet With Friends!"

The Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) carried out a survey at the end of last year aimed at establishing the perceived image of Tanzania. The two strongest images that came out portrayed Tanzania as a "Beautiful Country" with "Friendly People". From these two images TTB coined a brand slogan, namely:

"Tanzania, Feel Great With Friends!"​

The Board now welcomes the public to give comments on the proposed brand slogan and possibly propose new brand slogans based on the two images above. You can submit your inputs to brand@tanzaniatourism.go.tz not later than 8th August, 2011

Nakubaliana kiasi... wakati tunataka kuitaja nchi (Tanzania), mimi uelewa wangu ni kuwa hii ni "tag line" na sio sentensi amabayo itakuwa ikitumika independently. If not, then I stand corrected. Ila kama ni tag line, fikiria kama matangazo ya biashara wanaongelea product and then mwisho wanafunga tangazo with the tag line. Tukiangalia point yako then perhaps Tanzania: Beutiful Country with friendly people! Nataka bado tuwe na country maana to your point, sio wote wanajua Tanzania is a country... mara kadhaa nasikia watu wakinijibu "Tunisia..?" when I mention natokea Tz.

Unafikiri wahusika wanajali tunachosema hapa? Au wanalipa consultants for the free service we are providing here? Just wondering...
 
I strongly believe that hadi wahusika wameleta huku wametambua mchango wa forum hii so tusaidie kama think tanks kuendeleza na kuboresha walichoanzisha. Pia muda wa kutuma mawazo kupitia barua pepe brand@tanzaniatourism.go.tz umesogezwa hadi tare 15 September 2011. Tafadhali tuchangie mawazo yetu tuboreshe.

MamaEE umesomeka vizuri sana, slogan lazima iwe fupi iwezekanavyo, inayodeliver message,rahisi kukumbuka. Tunaposema feel great with friends ina maana kinachoiuza tz ni urafiki, au tunataka kupromote urafiki. Halafu tufunguke zaidi, kwa nini kiingereza, hebu tuitangaze tz kwa lugha yetu. Na-propose TANZANIA 'NCHI YETU'
